Olya Harizanova

Olya Harizanova is a professor of Information Systems and a Doctor of Philosophical Sciences. She is a lecturer at the Philosophical Faculty of the Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski “and leads lectures on databases and web technologies. She graduated from the Faculty of Mathematics and Mechanics of the Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski ” (1984)

Over the past 18 years she has been involved in the implementation of 36 projects, most of which were related to the development of the information society, ICT practices, e-content development and e-learning.

She headed 12 of these projects and she was a key expert or participant in other 24 projects. Besides SHARE, she is currently participating in two other projects: “Design and Development of a Prototype of the Information System” Index of Citation of Publications by Bulgarian Authors (Social Sciences) “[Contract № DN 15/1 of 11.12.2017; 2017-2020] as a leader; BG05M2OP001-1.001-0001 “Development and development of Center of Excellence” Heritage BG “[contract BG05M2OP001-1.001-0001-C01 / 28.02.2018; 2018-2023] as lead coordinator.

Prof Harizanova is an author of more than 90 publications, mostly related to the impacts of information and communication technologies on the development of society, rhetorical aspects of communication in the online environment, information design, and information-dependent welfare.
