This project site publishes own and other scientific materials, strictly cited under the national legislation and according to the international citing practices. Any copying of content from this site to third parties should be done under the copyright laws.

Data Protection Policy of the website of National Infrastructure project SHARE ERIC Bulgaria (“New opportunities in relation to ICT-based systems and models for the continued participation of Bulgaria in SHARE and joining to SHARE ERIC”) in the processing of personal data.



By presenting these terms and conditions, we aim to clarify what information we collect about you, why and how we use it, what are your rights under the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) and the General Data Protection Regulation (EU Regulation) 2016/679 OF THE EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT AND OF THE COUNCIL of 27 April 2016 – GDPR).

It is our priority to protect your personal data and to obtain your free, informed and unambiguous consent to the processing of your personal data on this website.

“Administrator” means an authority which, alone or jointly with other authorities, defines the purposes and means of processing personal data; where the purposes and means of such processing are determined by European Union law or the law of the Republic of Bulgaria, the administrator or special criteria for its determination may be established in European Union law or in Bulgarian law. In this case, the administrator is the scientific team – coordinator of the national consortium – ISSK-BAS.

“Personal data processor” means a natural or legal person, a public authority, an agency or other entity that processes personal data on behalf of the administrator.

“Processing” means any operation or set of operations performed with personal data or a set of personal data by automatic or other means such as collecting, recording, organizing, structuring, storing, adjusting or modifying, retrieving, consulting, using, disclosing by transmission, dissemination or other form of data access, arrangement or combination, restriction, erasure or destruction;

“Supervisory Authority” means an independent public authority of a Member State of the European Union responsible for monitoring the application of the rules on the protection of personal data. For the Republic of Bulgaria, the supervisory body is the Commission for Personal Data Protection.


Aim of the Policy for Data Protection

This Privacy Policy aims to ensure that the Administrator:

  • complies with data protection legislation, namely the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and other applicable legislation, and follows the best practices;
  • protects the users of the website “”;
  • ensures transparency about the ways in which the personal data of the users are stored and processed;
  • provides protection against the risks of data breaches;


How do we collect information about you?

We can collect information about you in several ways:

Completed and sent forms related to a subscription to our newsletters.

You have the right to appeal to the Personal Data Protection Commission.
